"Lost Dreams in Tuokou"

Rivers are the longest life zone and the artery of the earth. They contribute a lot to the creation of brilliant culture and great achievements. Being nice to rivers is in fact nice to ourselves. If rivers lose their flowing life, then the space formed along rivers and life conceived in the past history will wither, decay, and die away. In November 2013, morning sunlight shined through clouds over the ruins of Tuokou old street. Tuokou Town, an ancient and beautiful town with thousands years' history disappeared totally in the development and construction of hydropower station along Yuan River. Now Tuokou Ancient Town has been destroyed completely, and the original downtown area sank under the water forever.
