"GRENADE SURVIVOR"

20 August 2011, Kabul, Afghanistan: Noor Agha (15) who lost both arms in a grenade attack at his village in Gazni Province waits at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Orthopaedic Centre in Kabul. Victims of war as well as the disabled, are fitted with artificial limbs, hand made on the compound and Noor is in the process of getting his new arms fitted and rehabilitated. The centre is staffed by locals who have all lost limbs often from accidents involving land mines but including incidences of attacks from coalition forces.
