"THE KAZAKH EAGLE HUNTERS"

62 year old Kazakh eagle hunter Manna (goes by one name) poses with his eagle which he captured in the mountains when it was a chick. This is the seventh eagle that Manna, a father of 10 (five boys and five girls) has owned in his lifetime. In the remote region, which borders Russia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia and China live the last remaining Eagle hunters in the world. For centuries these people have hunted foxes and other small animals with their Golden Eagles. These Eagle live with them and in the winter months they are a very important way the hunters get their food and the fur which they use to make their clothes. Often in temperatures below - 40 they out hunting with the birds.
