Maremoto: Chile's Tragic Tsunami and Quake
In the early morning hours of February 27, 2010 a massive 8.8 earthquake rocked the central coast of Chile. The quake caused heavy damage but most of the 500 plus causalties were caused by a series of tsunamis that pummeled the coastline in the hours after the temblor. The town of Constitucion was particularly hard hit by both.
